This qualification is for individuals looking to upskill or gain a qualification to work across a range of business functions.

This qualification is suited to students with the view to;

  • develop their knowledge of their industry,

  • create their own business

  • find management employment or progress within the workplace or

  • use this qualification as a pathway into a higher-level qualification or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications


After achieving this Diploma individuals may undertake Advanced Diploma level qualifications within the BSB Business Services Training Package such as:

  • BSB60215 Advanced Diploma of Business

Entry Requirements

To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, candidates need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at a Diploma level, this can be demonstrated via the following:

  • Minimum of IELTS 5.5 (with no less than 5 in any component) or equivalent

  • Over 18 years of age at the commencement of the course

  • Successfully completed an Australian Year 12 or International equivalent or;

  • Successfully completed Certificate IV in Business or equivalent.

  • Pre-training review to assess individual needs.

This course is delivered face to face in a classroom environment with interactive workshops and opportunities to participate in practical application of skills and knowledge in a real life and/or simulated work environment.

Duration is 40 weeks (including 10 weeks holidays) allowing sufficient time to develop the necessary skills and knowledge in each unit.
